Coco Retrotique

I am the face behind the store Coco Retrotique!! 

I am based in New Farm in Brisbane, with my family (including fur baby Millicent Rose). 

Coco Retrotique was founded out of decades of thrifting – some would say hoarding!!  My love of vintage treasures came from my Mother-in-law, Jacqueline and my husband Joe. Jacqueline and her sisters had a homewares store in Mount Isa called “Spinifex” and her son (my husband) would unpack the boxes of beautiful china and glassware – which perfected his eye for thrifting and collecting. 

Joe and I are collectors of many things, many of which we have acquired over thirty years. Our favourite pieces include Swedish art glass (Kosta Boda, Orrefors) and Scandinavian glass design objects (Iittala), Australian pottery (including Martin Boyd pottery) and of course, flying wall birds!!   

This is our first venture into an on-line store and sharing our collections with the public.  It has been an exciting journey, and we cannot wait to share our love of collecting with you.
